Education doesn't stop at the bell
Milwaukee Recreation and Milwaukee Public Schools support students throughout the city by providing a variety of interscholastic athletic and academic opportunities. Through high school sports in the Milwaukee City Conference and extracurricular clubs for chess, debate, and forensics at schools around the district, students can develop new passions, create lasting friendships, and build skills that can have a lifelong impact.
Milwaukee City Conference

The Milwaukee City Conference (MCC) serves high school student-athletes throughout the Milwaukee Public Schools system, as well as other affiliate members around the city of the Milwaukee.
The MCC is dedicated to the philosophy that a student-athlete’s core responsibilities involve the pursuit of personal growth through academic work and team experiences. We recognize that athletic programming is an extension of academic and practical instruction. By participating in organized sports offered by the MCC, our student-athletes are building friendships, learning new skills, and creating lifelong memories.
