Outdoor Facility Permits

1. Complete the online permit application form.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol on all MPS Outdoor Facilities including but not limited to playfields, fieldhouses, tennis courts, and sand volleyball courts. This is in accordance with City Ordinance 90-39: Alcoholic Beverages on School Premises Prohibited. This is a strictly enforced policy.

Permits must conclude by 10 p.m. when parks close.

Inclement weather related cancellations must be rescheduled through Milwaukee Recreation. It is the responsibility of the permit holder to notify Milwaukee Recreation of the desired make-up date. No refunds will be given to a group after the season is completed for events that were not rescheduled.

Permit-holder cancellations must be made through Milwaukee Recreation. Full refunds are granted up to 30 days prior to the scheduled rental date. Refunds will not be granted for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the schedule rental date.

Organizations coordinating league play in which their participants are being charged a fee must pay an organizational league fee in addition to the hourly usage rates. This fee is assessed to the organization based on the total number of teams participating in each league in the season. The organizational league fee and hourly usage rates are due one week prior to the event.

• 6-24 teams: $50 per team
• 25+ teams: $35 per team

Includes use of the field from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. and all items listed in the comprehensive permit package

$300 per field per day

$5 per team (one-time fee)

Baseball & Softball Field Rates

• Standard Permit ($10 per hour per field): includes permit for field, field dragging, and field chalk lining
• Comprehensive Permit ($25 per hour per field): includes standard permit, bases, field attendant, lights (where available), and restroom access (where available)

Football & Soccer Field Rates

• Standard Permit ($10 per hour per field): includes permit for field
• Comprehensive Permit ($25 per hour per field): includes standard permit, field attendant, lights (where available), and restroom access (where available)

Field lining: $50 per week (where available, upon request)

Tennis, Futsal, & Outdoor Volleyball Court Rates

• Standard Permit ($5 per hour per court): includes permit for one court
• Comprehensive Permit ($20 per hour per one court): includes standard permit, field attendant, lights (where available), and restroom access (where available)

Wick Playfield Turf Field Rates (#1 and #2)

• Hourly Field Permit (two hour minimum): $100 per hour for city of Milwaukee entity, $150 per hour for non-city of Milwaukee entity
• Daily Field Permit (over six hours): $700 per day for city of Milwaukee entity, $1050 per day for non-city of Milwaukee entity
• Facility Staffing: $25 per hour for city of Milwaukee entity, $25 per hour for non-city of Milwaukee entity
• Security Deposit: 50 percent of total balance for all entities

NOTE: the fees include scoreboard and lights, if applicable. Also, teams which belong to a club or league based outside the city of Milwaukee are not eligible for resident pricing and will be charged the non-resident rate.
