Outdoor Facility Permits
Milwaukee Public Schools outdoor facilities are available for use by the community through the Outdoor Facility Permit Application process. To secure an outdoor facility, please complete the appropriate Outdoor Facility Permit Application for your request (see the Permit Resources drop-down menu for more information). The completed application must be submitted a minimum of two weeks prior to the reservation date to ensure proper processing. Every effort is made to honor permit requests. However, please note the priority for outdoor facility usage is as follows:
- First Priority: Milwaukee Public Schools
- Second Priority: Return Permit Groups requesting the same dates, times, and locations as previous year
- Third Priority: New Permit Groups
The permit application process is facilitated through Milwaukee Recreation.
Spring/Summer 2026 Outdoor Facility Permits
If you permitted with us in spring/summer 2025, you have first rights to the same dates, times, and locations you permitted for the upcoming spring/summer 2026 season. To secure your reservation for spring/summer 2025, your permit request(s) must be received by Milwaukee Recreation's adult sports and permits staff by Friday, Feb. 6, 2026.
On Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, all sites will open up to the public. All new permit requests will also be reviewed at this time. Invoices will be issued shortly after.
Any unpaid invoices with Milwaukee Recreation revokes your renewal rights and ability to permit. If you have any unpaid invoices, they must be paid by before Friday, Feb. 6, 2026 in order for you to retain your renewal rights.
