Milwaukee Recreation offers quality carnival games for you, your school, or your group to rent. These professionally built and finished games are sure to be crowd-pleasers at your next event, including school festivals, church events, birthday parties, block parties, picnics, and family get-togethers!

Please contact our staff at least 14 days in advance of your event. A $50 deposit fee is required to hold the date of your event. Final payment is due seven days before the date of your event. Your deposit will be refunded once equipment is returned in satisfactory condition.

Please note: we only accept rental requests up to three months in advance.

MPS School Groups

Milwaukee Public Schools groups are encouraged to contact our mobile units supervisor, Kali Norton (414-475-8499, Kali [at] mkerec.net), to initiate the carnival games rental application process. (When emailing our staff, please replace the "[at]" with a traditional "@" symbol. Ex: Staff@mkerec.net)

Non-MPS Groups

Groups and individuals that are not affiliated with Milwaukee Public Schools should use this rental application form to initiate the carnival games rental request process. Upon receipt of the form, Milwaukee Recreation staff will contact you about your rental.

Every effort is made to honor rental requests. However, please note the priority for building usage is as follows:

  • First Priority: Milwaukee Public Schools
  • Second Priority: MPS school-based parent groups
  • Third Priority: Individuals and community groups

Sets & Pricing

Delivery, Pick-Up, or Return

Customers can pick up the equipment from the Hawthorn Glen Outdoor Education Center (1130 N. 60th St.) and return the carnival games.

Milwaukee Recreation can also drop off and pick up the equipment (between the hours of 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Monday - Friday) for a $50 fee.

Equipment Return: Games are to be returned within one business day after customer pick-up.

Equipment Pickup: Milwaukee Recreation will pick-up delivered equipment within one business day.

The full rental fee (including deposit) must be received at least 7 calendar days prior to the event date.

If games are damaged, stolen, or destroyed, it is the responsibility of the requestor to pay the replacement cost (in addition to the rental fee and deposit).

Repair and replacement costs are determined at the sole discretion of MPS.
