Improving health and safety around water
Milwaukee Recreation is dedicated to improving water safety and accessibility in our community. Our indoor pools are home to year-round aquatics activities for all ages. Programs include aqua fitness courses, learn-to-swim lessons, parent-child classes, youth swim teams, and designated times for open swim and lap swim.
Milwaukee Recreation also offers adult competitive swim programs, such as master’s swim and triathlon training courses. Additionally, our American Red Cross Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor trainings create pathways for both recreation and professional development. Recent facility upgrades have also added improved lighting, seating, disinfectant systems, starting blocks, timing systems, and ADA chair lifts.
