Each season, Milwaukee Recreation offers affordable enrichment courses for all ages, including fitness sessions, arts & crafts workshops, music programs, sports opportunities, aquatics activities, language classes, and so much more.

Active Older Adults
Our programming for active older adults promotes healthy living through diverse offerings that nurture physical health, mental stimulation, and social connection. Programs are offered citywide, while the OASIS community center serves as a central hub with a fitness center and computer lab.

Aquatics
Milwaukee Recreation is dedicated to improving water safety and accessibility in our community. Our indoor pools are home to year-round aquatics activities for all ages. Programs include aqua fitness courses, learn-to-swim lessons, parent-child classes, youth swim teams, and designated times for open swim and lap swim.

Milwaukee Recreation is your home for a variety of free fitness and wellness programs throughout the year! Driver Education
Milwaukee Public Schools and Milwaukee Recreation offer affordable driver education programs in the summer, fall, and winter/spring seasons. This is a certified program to help students receive their temporary permits.

Community members of all ages are invited to experience the outdoors throughout the year with Milwaukee Recreation. Our locations are open for all participants to attend a field trip with their school, walk the trails with family, or register for a course to learn more about nature.
