Now Hiring: Child Care Camps Positions

Two children and a woman work on art projects at a wooden table in a classroom filled with colorful posters and supplies.

Create a supportive environment for our students

Do you enjoy working with children? Milwaukee Recreation is now hiring part-time staff to work in our before- & after-school child care camps, located in MPS schools throughout the city.

All child care camp program locations feature a variety of activities that provide academic support, enrichment, and recreation to thousands of MPS students during out-of-school time. Our staff members at all camps foster an environment to promote creativity, expand knowledge, and offer a safe place for students to be themselves.

You have a flexible schedule, you'll be building that relationship with the students, and then it is also fun and engaging.Keyana Child Care Camps Staff Member

Working with the kids is number one, but providing that service that a lot of our families really need [is] important work... It's a lot of fun, you get to work with the kids, we are very familiar with our program and our building and our families, and it's a little bit of extra money on the side.Eric Child Care Camps Staff Member
