Before- & After-School Programs

Engaging young people beyond the school day
Through citywide before- & after-school programs, Milwaukee Recreation provides a safe haven for youth in grades K3-12 during non-school hours.
Summer Camps, CLCs, & Safe Places
Milwaukee Recreation’s before- & after-school programs provide vital summer enrichment services to combat learning loss while providing safe, engaging environments for children. These programs offer academic support and enrichment activities, keeping young people busy and fostering continued growth during the summer months. They serve as an affordable alternative to daycare for working families, ensuring children are supervised and occupied while school is out. These initiatives extend the support provided during the school year, promoting well-being and ongoing education.
MPS also provides Summer Academy options beyond the school year. Learn more and register online.
