MILWAUKEE RECREATION AIMS
FOR THE H2OUTFIELD

Aquafina baseball competition set for May 17

Milwaukee Recreation will host the citywide Aquafina Pitch, Hit & Run Baseball Competition on Saturday, May 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Burnham Playfield, 1755 S. 32nd Street.

Aquafina Pitch, Hit & Run is a free program that allows youngsters between the ages of 7 and 14 to showcase their batting, pitching, and base-running abilities for the chance to advance to a sectional competition. All competitors will receive a participation item. Metal spikes will not be allowed. Parents/guardians are encouraged to call (414) 475-8942 for more information and an entry form.

"Milwaukee Recreation is always excited to host this competition because it gives our city's young athletes a chance to shine," says MPS Youth Sports Supervisor Jim Janicki.

Just in case Aquafina starts falling from the sky, the competition's rain date is reserved for the following day: Sunday, May 18.
