  • LET US BE YOUR RECREATIONAL SPORTS COORDINATOR! What is an Affiliated or Corporate Sports League? These sports leagues mirror our Municipal Sports. They are comprised of 6-8 teams of YOUR employees (Men's, Women's, Coed). League play is round-robin and generally last between 6-14 weeks, dependent on the season/sport. The Milwaukee Recreation Adult Sports Office offers numerous sports leagues for area-wide corporations: Softball, Volleyball, Basketball, Flag Football, and Golf. The magical thing is, YOU DESIGN YOUR OWN LEAGUES! Contact the Adult Sports Office at 5225 W. Vliet St. Room 163 Milwaukee, WI 53208 or call us at (414) 475-8410.

How do I begin to form a league for our corporation?
    1. APPOINT A LEAGUE DIRECTOR: Your company elects a league director, who simply is a sports liaison who the Adult Sports Office communicates with in regards to league matters.
    2. ADVERTISE THE LEAGUE AT WORK: Pass information on to prospective players, i.e. league contracts to be collected by the league director and returned to the Adult Sports Office.
    3. EACH TEAM APPOINTS A MANAGER: Each team elects a manager who is responsible in coordination and communicating with her/her teammates.
    4. LEAGUE DIRECTOR SUBMITS CONTRACTS AND TEAM FEES TO THE SPORTS OFFICE: A league is comprised of 6-8 teams from a single company. Each team turns in their own league contract along with league fees and player fees.
    5. SPORTS OFFICE GENERATES LEAGUE SCHEDULES: All of our sports leagues run for the duration of 6 to 14 weeks, depending on the sport and season.
    6. EACH TEAM REPORTS WEEKLY TO THE LEAGUE SITE: Each league has a paid official(s) and scorekeeper. Standings are updated weekly and available to the League Director and Team Manager.

CURRENT AFFILIATED/CORPORATE LEAGUES ARE RUN THROUGH ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS: St. Luke's Hospital, Falk Corporation, School Bus Corporations, Media Corporations (radio/television)

  • Entry Fee/Sponsorship Fee:
A sponsor's establishment must be located in the City of Milwaukee in order to be certified under the regular entry fee. Sponsors outside the City of Milwaukee must add $50.00 to their entry fee. Each sports league has a designated sponsorship fee.
